The Pollenizer experience pushes into my fourth week.   Customer acquisition.  Customer attraction.  Customer CTR.  These appear to be the theme of the week for me.

Customers are often difficult to obtain despite the ease of placing ads online compared to traditional media.  Working in the GetListed business has helped me to realize that constant iterations and A/B testing of ads helps to improve quality of online ad campaigns.

However, the challenge is to find out why certain tests are more successful than others.  I think this is something I continue to work on as I look at the analytics of the ads and the click through flow on the website.  Getting in the head of the person behind the keyboard and mouse is HARD.

Besides ad, I have been doing some direct marketing which has been exciting as potential Getlisted users reply to messages I send.  Sometimes with the advent of so much new technology and apps to automate messages, I forget that sometimes just communicating one on one still works.

Another highlight of the week was Image Local aka Pic Com that will be at the forefront of cutting edge, gripping local news for the people and by the people.  At least that’s what Kevin and I can hope for.
