Founded in memory of Trevor Pearcey, the Pearcey Foundation was established in 1998 to raise the profile of the Australian ICT industry and profession.
Each year, the foundation’s state committees make an award to the most outstanding ICT and digital media individual in each state who has demonstrated outstanding, innovative and business achievements, through an open processof peer recognition.
This years NSW ICT Entrepreneur of the Year award was presented to Lars and Jens Rasmussen, founders of Google Maps and Google Wave.
Receiving special recognition awards and inducted into the hall of fame for their entrepreneurial talents and industry contribution were:
