Firstly, thank you to our wonderful team and family who have worked with us this year in the team or as contractors. Peter Fellows, Bruno Mattarollo, Jon Tyson, Pierre Sauvignon, Alan Jones and June Cremin. Your commitment to getting the job done at a world class level is what is shaping the impression the market has of Pollenizer. And since 95% of our work has come from referrals, this couldn’t be more important to us, nor could we have done a better job. Gracias!

Also a big thank you to our 32 clients and partners for their business, their support and their faith. We hope that we have delivered what we aim to make your products deliver – spectacular value. We’re proud of the effort and dedication you’ve shown to move your businesses forward and we look forward to working with many of you again in 2009.

To the global, Australian and especially they Sydney community within which we work, thanks for supporting, encouraging, guiding and driving us. The length you all go to for each other is what will change us from being a mediocre success in the next 20 years to blowing the roof off and smashing all expectations. I am so very very excited about 2009.

Also thanks to our all-star advisory board, Mike Cannon-Brookes, Phaedon Stough and Talli Somekh who were great mentors and guides to our first year.

To Phil, my brave co-founder, thanks for taking the plunge with me, working your arse off and holding our work to a very high standard. You’ve been a rock of support as well as an endless well of inspiration.

For some light-heartedness, I did a quick video recapturing some of the highlights for me.

And for 2009? Despite the economic crisis I’m exceedingly confident. We’re in a growth areas, we’re have efficient distribution channels, we have low startup costs and we have a global audience. Plus, it would be hypocritical of me to say otherwise.

One thing we never got around to nailing was our tagline. So in the spirit of user-generated brilliance, we’d like your take on it. How would you describe Pollenizer in an exciting way in 5 words or less?

Here are some thoughts to get you started.

  • We work with web and mobile businesses.
  • We cover strategy, product, marketing and technology.
  • We work globally.
  • We focus on building, growing, streamlining, helping the management team.

Some ideas:

Pollenizer – Digital Business Builders

Pollenizer – Helping Grow Great Companies

Pollenizer – Web Business Architects

Any thoughts, ideas are all welcome!

Have a great break (if you’re lucky enough to get one) and see you in 2009 – be ready!
