HOW IS 21ST CENTURY HEALTH SHAPING UP?

Our incubator for exponential organisations (XO) is well underway with a community established and startups founded under Energy.XO. Now it is time to start Health.XO. Pollenizer has founded companies for Telstra Health, for aged care business IRT, Australian Federal Government and CSIRO. If you are an entrepreneur or enterprise looking to understand the trends, meet some amazing people and perhaps start to build with the next big thing in Health & Medicine, come along to Health.XO launch event on 20th October.

Following our successful Energy.XO event in August (which resulted in the creation of a new energy company Nexergy partnered with WA generator Horizon Power), we’re now looking towards the eXponential Opportunities in Health & Medicine – and to that end we’ve decided to launch a new program we call Health.XO.

We’ve partnered with aged care provider IRT to launch Health.XO next Thursday evening in Sydney (the 20th of October, at our Walsh Bay offices in Sydney) – where we’ll be joined by Dharmica Mistry, the co-founder of Aussie biotech darling B-CAL Diagnostics, as well as Apple Design Award 2016 winners Zova, new MedTech accelerators Fledge Innovation Labs, and current Pollenizer incubees cohortIQ (winners of the 2016 DataStart program) and Linkages (aged lifestyle concierge).

Will the future of health be a bitter pill, or a panacea?

While Australia’s health system is the envy of the world, it faces huge affordability challenges. We need a new, entrepreneurial innovation system to unlock the enormous investments in talent and knowledge that we’ve made to create a more sustainable health system which can deliver even better care and quality of life, and do so worldwide at exponential scale.
