So here is a challenge for you.
I got an email today from a guy who had 3 ideas he could pursue and he wanted advice on which one to do.
I answered with this;
Which business idea gets you so excited you could sell it to the world and get up 3 years in a row with full energy to pursue it with sheer determination?
If you could only ask the budding entrepreneur one question for him to decide, what would it be?

RT @pollenizer: What 1 question do you ask to help someone decide which #startup idea to pursue? http://bit.ly/px4Plr

@liubinskas @pollenizer “will this fix a big problem for a lot of people?”
Try the steve jobs approach….i know i know, but still. Here it is: If you can insert the word “insane” into the tagline and it still makes sense – then that’s probably something good to chase right? eg) for my biz it could be – personalised art made *insanely* easy; for wooboard maybe it’s – *insanely* simple team motivation; friendorse could be – *insane* recommendations from your friends (hopefully beter than: recomendations from your *insane* friends). If you can live with something like that, then it’s going to be a project that you’re well into, right?
How about, “which idea would you be happy to lose your marriage over?”
Which ever solves the biggest problem for the most people.
The one with the simplest revenue model that can be implemented from day 1.
A confronting question, and one that requires no hesitation to answer.
Right on, Trent. I’m also for ‘real value’. That’s what any great creation should deliver.
