Startups and babies…
- The launch date is never certain and often late
- It doesn’t come out the way you expect it to
- It costs much more than you think
- There are lots of bugs along way
- No matter how hard you try, you can’t accurately forecast the future
- It’s the cause of many sleepless nights
- It dominates your conversations with everyone
- It can lead to considerable stress between the ‘founders’
- Everyone has advice for you, but inevitably you find your own way
- When the baby reaches a certain maturity, some perverse part of you actually considers doing it again
Startups and babies by @hit_ch. What do you think @liubinskas?
…
11. It is a million times easier to talk about them than make them
12. Try as you might, you can’t create one by yourself
13. Everyone else’s seems easier to look after than yours
14. You will have to wear different hats everyday, and will always been cleaning up a mess
15. Premature scaling is to be avoided at all costs…
PS: Good choice of name, Mick!
