As Google’s ambition is to “organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful”, Linqia will be doing this specifically for the groups and communities of the web. This will provide users, moderators/group owners and advertisers with an aggregated view + tools to find the best groups to match what they seek. It has a unique set of challenges that we can’t wait to get stuck in to.

I will be working as acting CTO for the company to focus and accelerate the next phase of the platform’s evolution. We also expect other members of our team to be involved at different stages. Mick has already put his pointy ‘focus’ hat on.

Linqia are based in Barcelona, Spain so there will be some late nights but nothing new there and absolutely worth it to have the opportunity to work with Linqia’s talented and experienced team. I think we will learn a lot from this.
