Pollenizer: Building and Investing In Australian Web Startups

Hey there I'm Zac :)

I'm a Customer Development Manager.

When I was 16 I started my first business, an online perfume retailer. Since then I started a media company, worked in business consulting for a large advertising agency and built an international street wear fashion label, which I sold. Although inconsistent business ventures, they have provided me with a unique education. I have become addicted to the startup world and continually trawl the world looking for my next idea.

I was working on an idea with my cousin in New York (Silicon Alley) where I met some people in the incubation world. When I mentioned I was from Sydney one gentleman immediately commented, "the home of Pollenizer". A quick Google search, an email or two, a 14-hour flight and here I am.

To be in a job where I am still an entrepreneur starting my own businesses without the risk of starting my own business is my motivator. However its the people that I continually meet that inspire me every day.

In many ways it is still 'cowboy territory' which means anything is possible. At the moment I'm working on RedMeow and a new one I cannot name!
