Pollenizer: Building and Investing In Australian Web Startups

Hello! I'm Serdar and I'm a ScrumMaster.

I have always been a startup guy. I started my career as a system administrator/engineer and have been working for web companies since the dawn of the time. I slowly a became a project manager, CTO and entrepreneur.

I worked on many great projects back in Turkey, including Turkish YouTube izlesene.com, which was acquired by nokta.com (the biggest acquisition at that time). I also worked on gaming company Gamegarden.net sold to the largest media company, Dogan Media and the first Turkish mobile gaming studio, Funpac Mobile, which was successfully acquired by the largest Turkish portal, mynet.com.

I'm founder of belgeler.com, Turkey's largest social reading and publishing site, which has reached 140,000 registered users in 5 months

Prior to Pollenizer I also worked as a senior system engineer at peakgames.net, where I helped to build their infrastructure, which now handles about 10.000.000 million active users monthly, and is now the fastest growing startup in Turkey.

Besides morning coffees (I hate mornings!), I live off the synergy of the startup world. You can see the result of your actions immediately, and it is very much people oriented, rather than system oriented.

The uncertainty, roller coaster effect fascinates me everyday. You are becoming part of a great story (or nightmare depending on the project!) :)

Outside work, I love to watch movies, read, travel and spend time with my friends.
