Pollenizer: Building and Investing In Australian Web Startups

Hey, my name's Michael :) I'm a Product Manager.

I'm currently working on two businesses. The first is PayPygg, which is a a new exciting way to do fun and social things with your money - watch this space! The second is Unrenovated, which is just kicking off. Unrenovated is going to be the number one portal for everything to do with renovation and finding unrenovated properties!

I've always loved building things, and when you build on the web everything happens so much faster. With a small team you can make big things happen. There's just something about working in an environment of like-minded people who are as passionate as you are about what they're doing that makes you want to get of bed in the morning.

Prior to joining Pollenzier I was working as a freelance web designer and developer helping small businesses grow online. Before freelancing I teamed up with a local bottle shop in Sydney and launched an online wine store, Ninety9 Bottles. With no funding or capital investment I created the brand, designed and built the site and even launched a couple of wine labels.

I found Pollenizer when I stumbled across a job position being advertised on LinkedIn. I knew immediately this was the type of company I wanted to be a part of. That Thursday I was at the Hive for an interview, back in for X-Poll on Friday and I started work on the Monday. That's how fast things happen at Pollenizer!

When not at work you'll find me travelling the world, trying to look cool taking photos with my SLR or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
