Pollenizer: Building and Investing In Australian Web Startups

Hello there, I'm Bruno.

I'm an experienced CTO, passionate about technology and always on a quest to learn. I bring those learnings and that passion to bear on the challenge of helping your business succeed.

I have a diverse background, both culturally as well as professionally. Before joining Pollenizer, I worked for nearly four years as the CTO of a Rising Sun Pictures, a leading visual effects studio in Australia, where I helped transform the software and systems groups from support centers to active participants in the success of the company. Prior to that, I worked for a Greenpeace International. I led the development of an organisation-wide, truly global content management system, with a team of developers across three continents enabling the whole organisation to share content efficiently and reduce the global costs of hosting and web development. I later headed the ICT office. Before that, I worked for large financial institutions as well as telecommunication companies back in my country of birth, Argentina. And even before that, in what seems to have been a previous life, I worked as an interpreter (French, Spanish and English) for a large civil engineering firm while studying computer sciences.

My passions are Agile and adaptive software engineering methodologies, environments were creativity, passion and technology mix, ruby (the programming language, not the precious stones, but now that I mention it ... :-) ), sustainable living (which is extremely applicable to software and startups), flying small planes, photography and last but not least my family (I am the proud father of a little one year old and honoured to have a beautiful and intelligent partner).
