Pollenizer: Building and Investing In Australian Web Startups

Hey there! My name's Albert. I'm a product manager.

I joined Pollenizer in late 2010 after working as a graphic designer for a consulting firm, and freelancing while I studied. During this time I discovered my passion for digital media.

I met Pollenizer when I was at uni - They sent out emails to all the student.... guess I was the only one to respond! ;)

The amazing thing about working at Pollenizer is the team. We all come from such diverse backgrounds, so the concepts and ideas are unique.

Also the fact that we see people be so engaged (sometimes obsessed) with our products makes you want to build more!

Web start-ups fascinate me because of the uncertainty and unpredictability of them. Most of the time no one knows if their idea will succeed. Plus, we get to work with some pretty amazing technology. Some of the great projects I've worked on are Spreets, Dealised, WaysAct, Friendorse and Wooboard.

When I'm not at work, I'm either at home working on my own projects, playing video games, or out with friends
